Is Hyperider safe? Can I get liquidated?

Trades are tiny, capped, and auto-closed each ride, so you cannot be liquidated out of your account the way manual perp trading risks. You can also ride in free practice mode with no wallet and no real trades to learn first.

Does Hyperider take custody of my funds?

No. Hyperider is non-custodial. You keep your funds in your own accounts on each perp DEX. You connect with Privy and sign a trade-only key that can place small orders but can never withdraw or move your funds. Hyperider never holds your assets.

What is Privy and how do I connect?

Privy is the wallet-authentication layer Hyperider uses. You sign in with your existing wallet and approve a one-time, trade-only signature per venue. No seed phrase is shared and the key cannot withdraw funds.

As low as $0 per $1M of volume on zero-fee venues like Lighter, and single-digit-to-low dollars per $1M on maker-first venues. Hyperider studies live market conditions and routes every drive down the cheapest path it can find, and keeps working to push fees lower.

Do I need an account on the perp DEX?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you fund and hold your balance on each perp DEX yourself (Hyperliquid, Hotstuff, Lighter, Perpl, Extended, Ondo). Hyperider drives on top of those accounts and never holds custody. Every trade also farms that venue's own points/airdrop.
